Two Witches are pioneers of Finnish gothic rock who formed in 1987! They have played hundreds of gigs, toured on four continents and in nearly 30 countries. During the years they have released many albums and their latest studio album ”The Undead” was released 2021.

Jyrki Witch, the founder of the band is a well known person in the gothic scene as a DJ, journalist, novelist and festival organizer. Miss Blueberry, the keyboardist of the band is also a known alternative model and pole dance & aerial acrobatic performer and instructor. Marko Hautamäki is the multi-instrumentalist and main composer of Two Witches and finally they bring Antti Hermanni on bass.

Two Witches were supposed to play at the 2020 edition of Uma Obscura that was canceled due to the pandemic, so we are pleased to welcome them back 2024, it was over 10 years since they played in Umeå!

Om ett band ska beskrivas som Finlands goth-pionjärer så är det Two Witches, som bildades redan 1987 och som sedan dess kontinuerligt gett ut skivor och spelat live. De har besökt bortåt 30 länder och släppt åtskilliga album, det senaste ”The Undead” år 2021.

Frontfiguren Jyrki Witch är även känd inom scenen som DJ, journalist, författare och festivalorganisatör. Miss Blueberry, bandets keyboardist är även alterantivmodell, poledansare och utövare av luftakrobatik. Marko Hautamäki är multiinstrumentalist och bandets kompositör, samt att de kommer ha med Antti Hermanni på bas.

Det är över 10 år sedan de spelade i Umeå och de skulle ha spelat på 2020 års upplaga av Uma Obscura, som tyvärr ställdes in på grund av pandemin, men nu återvänder de äntligen år 2024.
