Murju-8 is a Finnish Cyberpunk project founded in 2022 by musician and producer Janette Salonen. Combining heavy electronic rhythms, industrial synthesisers, and cinematic orchestration, Murju-8 creates a distinctive blend of cyberpunk atmosphere and emotional storytelling.

Drawing inspiration from industrial music, dark electro, and film soundtracks, the project explores themes ranging from burnout and depression to first love, perseverance, and inner strength. The singles On Aika Huutaa and Vierasta Sikaa established Murju-8’s intense and personal approach, while Universal expanded the sonic palette with multilingual vocals, sweeping orchestral arrangements and introducing co-singer Stephanie Mazor.

Murju-8 has received praise for its powerful live performances, including an appearance at Helsinki Industrial Festival. With the release of the anthem Ikiyössä and a growing live presence, the project is now preparing its debut album, High Tech – Low Life, scheduled for late 2026.

Murju-8 will join the Uma Obscura line up. It will be the first time they play outside of Finland and for this performance Janette will be joined on stage by Stephanie Mazor!

The Black Capes are a prominent gothic rock band from Athens, Greece. Throughout their career they have carved a distinct niche in the global underground, blending old-school gothic rock with modern elements.

The Black Capes är en av Greklands mest lovande akter inom gothrock-scenen i dag. De har funnit sitt sound med en blandning av klassisk goth och nya inflenser. De har hynnit släppa tre studioalbum som har blivit populära, exempelvis på tyska listorna för alternativ musik och dom har synts i många större branschtidningar. Bandet har också blivit kända som ett starkt liveband och de turnérat frekvent runtom i Europa.

Leather Strip is the solo-project of the legendary Danish electronic industrial artist Claus Larsen. First signed by the German Electro Label Zoth Ommog in 1989, they quickly built a buzz as one of the most exciting emerging acts in Europe in the early 90’s.

Leæther Strip has been and still is a big inspiration to many of todays younger acts and is still one of the most productive and most busy live acts in the scene. Leæther Strip concerts are very uptempo and energetic, and he plays lots of his classic hits like ”Strap me down”, ”Dont tame your soul” and so many more.

First release 1989. ”Japanese Bodies”, and over 30 + albums has been released since then. Leæther Strip perfomances are known worldwide for their massive industrial energy and powerful stage presence. 2026 ill see 2-3 new album releases from Leæther Strip, and he will be touring all over the world to promote these albums. Leather Strip will attend Uma Obscura and Umeå for the first time!
