The Black Capes are a prominent gothic rock band from Athens, Greece. Throughout their career they have carved a distinct niche in the global underground, blending old-school gothic rock with modern elements.

Their three studio albums are filled with haunting melodies, crushing riffs and deep vocals. Evocative soundscapes and post punk anthems have landed them on the German alternative charts and resulted in features on major print publications like Metal Hammer, Rock Hard, Orkus etc.

The Black Capes are a captivating live act, having toured continental Europe and the UK sharing prominent stages with darkwave and goth heavyweights. Now they are invading Sweden for the very first time this November, so Umea: prepare for darkness!

The Black Capes är en av Greklands mest lovande akter inom gothrock-scenen i dag. De har funnit sitt sound med en blandning av klassisk goth och nya inflenser. De har hynnit släppa tre studioalbum som har blivit populära, exempelvis på tyska listorna för alternativ musik och dom har synts i många större branschtidningar. Bandet har också blivit kända som ett starkt liveband och de turnérat frekvent runtom i Europa.
