Dud Muurmand is one of the Danish dance pioneers within all things tribal, theatrical and dark fusion! She has been teaching dance and performing professionally since the early 1990s. She has worked artistically with many different styles of both traditional oriental dances as well as fusion: Skirt Fusion, FCBD-tribalstyle ®, Tribal Fusion, Burlesque/Cabaret styled fusion and Dramatized/Theatrical dance.

From early on her dance style has been influenced by the theater, utilizing both visual effects and strong emotional interpretation. She is the chairwoman of Tribaldance Denmark, organizing events like ”DARK Weekend Copenhagen” (dark theatrical fusion dance) among others. She has instructed and produced several of her own dance theater projects over the years—both traditional stage productions as well as experimental webcasted performances – but she has also initiated and managed many collaboration projects with other artists during the years.
