Geson Rathnow, a student with a background in welding, works as an artist with most materials, except wood.
“My favorite materials are stone, metal, ceramics, glass, fabric, yarn, photo and words. All materials have their own different properties and come with their owns sets of possibilities and limitations, and in my work I like to challenge them, and if possible, see if they are willing to lend their various qualities to each other.”
